I currently work as embedded software engineer at Schindler, where I contribute to designing the software for the next generation of elevators.
Before joining the group, I gained experience in startup environments both in Italy and the US working for Zerynth and Skypersonic.
Skypersonic is a company manufacturing drones for indoor inspections. There, I programmed microcontrollers to control and locate aerial vehicles in GPS-denied environments.
In Zerynth, I ported a proprietary C VM to enable Python programming for 32-bit MCUs, developed IoT applications, and delved into IoT-related topics such as connection security for constrained devices.
While in the US, in Michigan, I met Jacob Beningo and started collaborating with him on Python-based environments for Machine Learning applications on arm cortex-m devices.
I hold a Master’s degree in Robotics and Automation Engineering from the University of Pisa.
